So I've pulled yesterday's post.
I couldn't sleep last night, and wasn't sure why my head wouldn't shut up. Then I realized I was feeling guilty for calling 13 year old girls and their probably haggard mothers mean names.
So, for today, I'll count to 10, or 10,000, and try to gain a little perspective.
For the record, I think your perspective was fine. It was theirs that needs correcting.

You had every right to be pissed.
I also wanted to say though that you might want to give up on the church immediately. I would try to address the nice girl seperately - peer pressure does awful things at that age. And maybe someone who is supposing to be running the youth group. It would be a shame to let that one experience negate all the positive ones. And it will make you feel better in the long run if you try to work it out before just fleeing. It's a lesson I know the value of because I know it is something I peronsonally need to work on.
